Seattle Fashion Supports Hurricane Sandy Relief

In response to Hurricane Sandy we partnered with the American Red Cross to use our monthly Meet the Mentors event at Tap House Grill in downtown Seattle to raise money for relief efforts. We’re proud to announce that those in attendance donated $137 for the Red Cross. The best part is that $20 of that came from a total stranger at the restaurant that overheard us.

The Garment District in New York has been facing a lot of challenges, and Hurricane Sandy did not help the situation. Many of the businesses in the district were hanging on by a thread before the storm, so we had to do something to help our industry brothers and sisters. If you weren’t able to make last night please contact the Red Cross to donate.
